Requires a merchant account through Intuit Merchant Service for Terminals, provided by Intuit Payment Solutions. Application approval and Internet access required. Transaction fees apply. Optional download feature requires QuickBooks Financial Software 2008 (for the PC) or higher (sold separately). Not compatible with QuickBooks Pro for Mac or QuickBooks Online Edition. Additional fees apply when accepting cards other than Visa, MasterCard and Discover Network, including American Express and Diners Club Cards. Rates are determined by the financial institution and are subject to change without notice. Transactions are subject to Association guidelines. Not all existing terminals can be reprogrammed. New terminal purchase may be necessary. Terminals are available separately to lease or buy. Fees & Adjustments download is only available in QuickBooks Financial Software 2008 or higher or QuickBooks Enterprise 8.0 or higher. - The following scanners are compatible: VeriFone Vx510, VeriFone Vx570, VeriFone Omni 3730, VeriFone Omni 3740, VeriFone Omni 3750, Ingenico 5100.
- Some terminals have a PIN-pad built-in; others require optional PIN-pad; sold separately.
- "Card-Present Rate" applies to qualified swiped Visa/MasterCard/Discover Network transactions that are electronically authorized. Credit card reader required; sold separately.
- Not all existing terminals can be reprogrammed. In some cases, new terminal purchase may be necessary.
- Funding status on credit card deposits and Fees & Adjustments Download is available only in QuickBooks 2008 or Enterprise 8.0 or higher.
- Special pricing is available for a limited time only and is valid for ProAdvisors, Accountants and clients of ProAdvisors and Accountants only. Monthly fees are waived for the first three months which begins at first billing cycle. After the first three months, your account will be automatically billed at the then current rates for the monthly fee. Transaction fees and discount rates apply.
- Qualified Rate (Card Swiped Rate) of 1.61% will be charged on all qualified Visa/MasterCard/Discover® Network transactions that are electronically authorized. Manually keyed Visa/MasterCard/Discover Network transactions that have Address Verification System (AVS) will be charged a Mid-Qualified Rate of 2.20%. All Visa/MasterCard/Discover Network transactions that do not meet the requirements stated above, business cards, foreign cards and transactions that do not meet Visa/MasterCard/Discover Network requirements for the best interchange program will be charged a Non-Qualified Rate of 3.50%. Different discount rates may apply for American Express and JCB cards.
