Equipment

If you receive paper check payments and want to take advantage of Intuit Check Solution for QuickBooks, you'll need a scanner. We've worked closely with scanner vendors to offer you some of the best check scanning equipment on the market, fully compliant with the digital imaging requirements of the Check 21 Act.

Also remember that our solutions allow you to accept checks by phone, without a scanner (for smaller batches or one-off processing). Your customer reads you the account and routing numbers and account type over the phone, you enter it in a short form, and you send it for processing. Easy.

For the big jobs, though, Intuit is pleased to offer two scanning options, both specifically designed to work with Intuit Check Solution for QuickBooks.

Monthly service fee is waived for the first two months which begins at the first billing cycle. After the first two months, your account will be automatically billed at the then current rate for the monthly service fee and other applicable fees (currently $9.95 for check service and $17.95 for bundled check and card service). 2 Payments submitted by 1 p.m. PT usually get funds deposited to the merchant's U.S. bank account the next business day. Intuit reserves the right to hold settlement on deposited checks as necessary to manage risk. Deposits held are reviewed with merchants and a decision is made to release funds after reviewing the specific situation.
3 Requires one of two scanners: high speed Panini Vision X-50 Scanner or general purpose Fujitsu ScanSnap s300 Scanner (each sold separately).

5 Qualified Rate will be charged on all qualified Visa/MC/Discover® Network transactions that are electronically authorized.
