When you sign up to become a QuickBooks ProAdvisor®, you're automatically enrolled in the QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Certification course. QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Certification can help you distinguish yourself, expand your business, and offer a higher level of QuickBooks expertise and consulting to your clients.

Why Certify in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions?

Expand your own practice and help clients optimize their business operations, by supporting larger and growing businesses.

Generate incremental revenue by offering QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions consulting, installation, set-up, and training to your current and prospective clients. Mid-size clients tend to have more complex needs and require additional consulting services such as 3rd-party integration.

QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Certification offers a flexible learning experience. You'll have access to eight recorded (Webcasts) led by seasoned Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors and Enterprise Solutions instructors. Topics covered include:

Once you have listened to these Webcasts, you need to successfully complete an online exam of 55 questions. A passing score of at least 85% is needed.

NOTE: No CPE credits
Because QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Certification includes an open-book exam, it does not allow eligibility for CPE credits.

Level of Knowledge and Prerequisites

This online, self-study certification course is for accounting and technology professionals who are already familiar with QuickBooks financial software, and plan to provide on-site QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions set-up or training services to their clients. In order to become a Certified QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions ProAdvisor, you must first become a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Step 1: Install QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 7.0 software

There are several ways you can access QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 7.0 software:

• Use the QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Accountant Edition 7.0 software included in your ProAdvisor Member Kit.
• Order the QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 7.0 30 day trial CD

We highly recommend you install QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 7.0 software before beginning the training process.

Step 2: Listen to and review the QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 7.0 Webcasts

Each of the Webcasts below is a recording of a recent live Webcast. In order to view these Webcasts, you will need to download the WebEx player (2.1M, approximately six minute download on a 56k modem).

Once you have installed the WebEx Player, click on the link below for the Webcast you are interested in viewing. A File Download dialog box will appear. In this box, select Open and the Webcast will launch in a new window. Please note: Due to the size of the files, a high-speed connection is recommended.

Using ODBC and Crystal Reports to Create Custom Reports (40 MB)

This session teaches you all the details of customizing QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions by using our new built-in ODBC tool. We'll teach you how to setup and use this new tool. Then we'll show you how to use your data in QuickBooks to create and customize reports using Crystal Reports.

Step 3: Complete QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 7.0 Certification Exam

(An online test)
A QuickBooks ProAdvisor becomes certified in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 7.0 by successfully completing an online exam of 55 questions. A passing score of at least 85% is needed.

The exam is now available in each ProAdvisor's course locker on the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Member Site.

For those with existing knowledge and skills with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions, you may participate in only the courses you feel are necessary to build your knowledge to the level required to become certified.

A: Yes. The recorded webcasts are available to you on a 24/7 basis and may be viewed as often as you like.

A: Yes. The Certification exam is available in your QuickBooks ProAdvisor Course Locker, and you may take it up to 20 times. You must receive a passing score of 85% to become certified.

A: The exam will identify any missed questions after it has been submitted.

Q: Why do I need to be QuickBooks Certified to become Enterprise Solutions Certified?

A: Enterprise Solutions 7.0 Certification is designed to build on your existing QuickBooks knowledge. Many of the Webcasts assume that the audience is already a QuickBooks expert. These Webcasts were designed to supplement your QuickBooks knowledge specifically on Enterprise Solutions functionality and understanding the Mid-Market customer.
